
Jessica Haffkoss Counsel
Jessica Haffkoss is counsel at Landau Law, PLLC. Ms. Haffkoss advises clients on the business and litigation aspects of bankruptcy and workouts.
Ms. Haffkoss obtained her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2009. During law school, Ms. Haffkoss served as a bankruptcy judicial intern for the late Honerable Michael G. Williamson in the Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. She also took an advanced bankruptcy seminar with, and was mentored by, the late Honorable Alexander L. Paskay.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Haffkoss worked at White & Case LLP as a financial restructuring and insolvency associate in its Miami and Manhattan offices. She later moved to Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in Manhattan. At these two AmLaw 100 firms, Ms. Haffkoss worked on a variety of high-profile, complex financial restructuring and insolvency matters ranging across a wide array of industries including energy, entertainment, retail, and telecommunications.
Prior to joining Landau Law, Ms. Haffkoss gained extensive commercial litigation experience at Mrachek Law in West Palm Beach where she represented sophisticated clients in complex litigation matters involving contract disputes and business torts.
Ms. Haffkoss is admitted in the Florida and New York bars.
